FB2000T

FloodBuster 2000T (telephone version) uses our "Call N' Tell" technology to inform anyone anywhere in the world, by telephone, when a flooded condition exists. FB2000T will also call when its own 9 volt battery is running low.

Description
There are a total of four message slots built into the FB2000T memory chip. Two of these are pre-recorded messages built into the FB2000T "Attention-Low Battery" message and the "Warning-Flooded Condition" message. A third user-programmable message can be recorded at any time by simply plugging the FB2000T cord into an ordinary telephone. Any message up to 30 seconds can be recorded, including any touch-tones. The fourth slot is a ten-second long slot for a phone number for the FB2000T to dial to in order to deliver the messages.

When a flooded condition arises, FB2000T beeps just as any basic FloodBuster. After five seconds, it will open the phone line port and dial the number recorded by the user. it will wait for a few seconds, deliver the pre-recorded "Warning-Flood" message, then immediately play the long message recorded by the user. This message would typically describe the location of that FB2000T and a person to contact, or some other instructions. These two messages will play a total of three times, then the FB2000T will hang up. After 90 seconds, the FB2000T will check the flood sensor again, and if the flooded condition still exists, it will dial again and deliver the same three-times, two-message cycle again. This will happen continuously every 90 seconds until the flood sensor shows dry, at which time the FB2000T will power down and continue to monitor, or until the battery runs dead.

The FB2000T also monitors its own 9 volt battery. When the battery is first installed, the FB200T immediately checks the battery, and if fresh, it will go to low power scan mode and check the battery again several hours later. If the battery is low, the FB2000T will call the number recorded by the user and deliver the "Attention-Low Battery" message and the same 30 second message recorded by the user. After the usual three-round play cycle, the FB2000T will power down again, but will check the battery again in about four hours. If low, the FB2000T will call again. This four-hour calling routine will continue until the battery is replaced, or until it goes dead. The FB2000T will work properly on any voltage from 8 to 9 volts, and will monitor and play messages down to 7 volts.

FB4000

The FB4000 is a system consisting of up to 8 wireless remote, battery-operated Flood Buster units that transmits an emergency message such as flooded condition, as well as the remote's battery condition, to receiving master control unit. The control unit receives the signal from any one of the wireless units and identifies the unit by a series of LED's numbered from one to nine. The control unit has a built-in-telephone interface and a telephone cord, and is powered by a standard wall transformer. At the time of installation an ordinary telephone is plugged into the cord and phone number and voice message can be recorded by the user. A total of three voice messages and a phone number are recorded into the control unit. Two messages describing either a flooded condition or a low battery condition are prerecorded along with the numbers one through eight. A third message can be recorded by the user into the control unit using an ordinary telephone to describe the apartment number or location and any instructions to be carried out, as well as a telephone number for the unit to dial.
